Privacy Policy for Workout Progress Tracker

1. Overview

Workout Progress Tracker is built to work without account creation or onboarding. You can create your own program and start tracking immediately.

2. Data We Process

2.1 Data stored on your device

• Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weight, rest, notes)
• Program and exercise definitions (including custom content)
• App preferences (units, timer settings, app configuration)

2.2 Optional data integrations

• Apple Health / HealthKit data (only if you grant permission)
• iCloud backup/sync data (through your Apple account and iCloud settings)

2.3 Subscription data

• Purchase and entitlement status is processed through RevenueCat and Apple in-app purchases.

2.4 Data we do not currently collect by default

• No ad tracking identifiers
• No third-party advertising profiles
• No analytics or crash logging SDK enabled by default

3. How We Use Data

• Logging and displaying your workouts
• Showing progress charts, PRs, and suggestions
• Managing subscriptions and Pro feature access
• Sync/backup if you choose to enable it

4. Account Requirement

• The app does not require account creation for normal usage.
• Consumer login is not required for tracking, planning, or subscription usage.
• Admin authentication is used only for internal built-in content management.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only with service providers needed to run app features:

• Apple (in-app purchases, iCloud, HealthKit framework integrations)
• RevenueCat (subscription entitlement handling)
• Convex (admin/built-in content backend operations)

6. HealthKit

• We may read and/or write workout-related HealthKit records if enabled by you.
• Health data usage follows Apple's HealthKit rules and is never used for ads.
• You can revoke Health permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
• iCloud-backed data retention is controlled by your Apple account and iCloud settings.
• Admin/account-related backend records are retained only as needed for operation and legal obligations.

8. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards including secure transport where applicable and platform security controls provided by iOS, iCloud, Apple in-app purchases, and integrated providers.

9. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Users

Depending on provider infrastructure, data may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards required by applicable law.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at the privacy policy URL and in this repository.
