Terms of Service for OverLog

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using OverLog (the App), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (Terms). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

OverLog is a fitness tracking application that provides:

• Workout logging and tracking
• Progress monitoring and analytics
• Exercise library and custom workout creation
• Health data integration with Apple HealthKit
• Optional sync and backup features (for eligible plans and device capabilities)

Access and Accounts

No Account Required for Core Use

• OverLog can be used without creating an account
• Core workout logging, progress tracking, and program creation are available without sign-up

Optional/Restricted Account Access

• Some internal/admin features may require account-based authentication
• If you use an authenticated admin account, you are responsible for your credentials and activity under that account
• We may suspend or terminate authenticated access for violations of these Terms

Subscription and Payments

Premium Features

• OverLog offers premium features through subscription
• Subscription prices are clearly displayed before purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Premium eligibility is determined by your App Store purchase status (via Apple/RevenueCat)

Payment Terms

• Payments are processed through Apple's App Store
• All sales are final
• No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods
• Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings

Free Trial

• Free trial periods may be offered for new subscribers
• Trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
• You will be notified before the trial period ends

Acceptable Use

You agree to use OverLog only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Health and Fitness Data

Medical Disclaimer

• OverLog is not a medical device and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment
• Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals before starting any new fitness program
• The App is not intended to replace professional medical advice

Health Data Responsibility

• You are responsible for the accuracy of health data you input
• HealthKit integration requires your explicit consent
• We are not liable for injuries or health issues resulting from use of the App

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• OverLog and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us
• The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• You may not use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary content without permission

User Content

• You retain ownership of workout data and personal information you provide
• You grant us a license to use your data to provide and improve the service
• You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using OverLog, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Sync

• By default, your workout data is stored on your device
• If enabled and available, data may be synchronized using iCloud and/or other configured services
• Sync features may require an active premium plan and compatible device/account settings
• You are responsible for enabling platform-level services (such as iCloud) if you want cloud backup

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
• We are not responsible for data loss due to technical issues

No Warranties

• The App is provided as-is without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of all features
• We are not responsible for fitness results or health outcomes

Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Your exclusive remedy is to stop using the App

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to authenticated/admin features immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the App
• Sending you an email notification for significant changes
• Updating the Last Updated date

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law
